Happy New Year or is it National Man Day!

Honestly is this really New Years Day or just a day for men to sit back a enjoy every second watching football?! I guess on the poistive side Carson doesn't sit and watch football every weekend like I am sure he would enjoy doing, so I guess we can do it one day!

Last night was a fun night! We enjoyed Chilies take out and Marcus and I made homemade chicken strips (yummy)! We then went over and played at my moms for awhile and then got home just in time to celebrate the new year with New York! Hey at least this year we made it up until 10! It was fun to bring in the New Year with the kids.

As the new year begins I sit back and think about all of the many accomplishments our family has made with many blessings that we did recieve. I also have thought the last little bit of what I want to do during this up coming year. So here goes so New Years Resoultions....
*helping my family to be more healthy by cooking more from scratch meals (Kate on Jon and Kate puls 8 has inspired me!)
*learning how to become more green friendly
*being more organized
*of course being more healthy, loosing weight-the usual!
*being a more patient person
*learning more and staying close to my Savior so I can be able to teach my children so they can be good outstanding adults! I honestly fear everyday that I am going to do something or teach my children something wrong so they don't turn out to be good people!

Happy 2008 to everyone! May you find lots of peace, happiness, love, and laughter in your lives this year!

I'm glad to hear you had a Happy New Year! I can't believe it's 2008 I feel so behind on things. Especially scrapbooking! My goal is to get caught up and organized. I think that was a goal last year too. Which doesn't look good, hopefully I can do it this year. Good luck with yours as well, we'll have to encourage one another.

Courtney,
It was so good to hear from you!! You have such a cute family and I have loved reading your posts. I am so grateful life ended up the way it did with our missionaries too! I think I heard your voice a while ago on Good Things Utah and you won something from their trivia, it was close to your anniversary or something. I was like hey, I think I know that girl! Nicea is a good friend of mine and I was up there at the taping that day. Weird huh! Anyway, I think it was you, now I'm not 100% sure. Let me know!
