Lagoon
We enjoyed our yearly trip to Lagoon with my family again this year. The weather was a wonderful temperature and the crowds weren't too bad. The kids had a wonderful time riding on all of the rides. Marcus thought it was great going on most of the big kid rides, we are hoping by next year he will be tall enough to go on everything!
Carson, Jayson, and the boys enjoyed going on Rattle Snake Rapids. Carson really didn't want to go and get wet, but he was a good sport anyway!

Carson trying to stand up so he misses the biggest waterfall, he did a pretty good job of not getting too wet!
Olivia eating crackers with about 5 pieces of cheese on it!

My dad won this stereo. Carson and Jayson enjoyed themselves when they went with my dad out to the car talking very loudly about my dad winning it at different arcades. I guess they had lots of heads turning their way!

So the most exciting part of the day was the HUGE rainstorm that came through Lagoon. I can't believe how many people were running around trying to find cover. When it happened we were all separated-me, my parents, and little girls; Carson, Alec, and Austin; Jaime, Jayson, Marcus, and Jackson. Carson, Alec, and Austin found cover at the arcade, and the rest of us ended up at the Pavilion. Even though we got very wet we still had a good time. The nice thing was after it stopped raining a lot of the people went home so we were able to go on lots of rides. Something that we will never forget!

Marcus' First Tooth Fell Out!
After having a loosed tooth for awhile it finally fell out! He thought it was very cool and lucky for all of us it never did bleed, so now he won't be afraid to loose another one. In the middle of the night he came into my room to let me know the tooth fairy had left him $2.00!

Fireworks
The last couple of years we have tried to get together with some of our friends to light fire works. The kids always have a lot of fun and I believe the dads have a lot of fun as well. We are just lucky that the dad's haven't started on fire yet!

I don't know if Carson is laughing at Clint or when Josh's smoke bomb rolled under someones car!
The kids dancing around during a few of the fireworks.

The boys have enjoyed playing a season of T-Ball. This year was Alec's first year to be able to play, so the boys were able to be on the same team. It was fun watching them together. There was a couple of times Alec was pitcher and Marcus was 1st base. It was a proud mom moment watching them working together.
On the last game the boys we happy that their cousin Austin could come watch them. For some reason Alec was thinking they were #2 instead of #1!!!
I love how giggly Alec is! His laugh is something you want to hear every day!

We enjoyed our trip with my mom, two sisters, and cousins to the Bountiful pool. The kids always have so much fun. Olivia was a little crazy, we couldn't keep her above the water most of the time. She would also jump off the side all by herself. She would tell us, "no one tatch me!" Marcus was brave enough to jump off the high dive and Alec jumped off the diving board. They love hanging out with their cousins. While we were there we celebrated Austin's 6th birthday!

The kids have been enjoying swimming lessons this year. We are now on our 4th year going to the same place, it is wonderful! I can't believe how much the kids have learned. Marcus is in the oldest class, he does really well he is just getting stronger at what he does. Alec is doing so well! During the first session he wasn't to confident that he could swim the whole length of the pool, but now he loves it and can do it all by himself! And then their is little Miss Olivia! This is her first year and has done way more then I ever could have imagined! The first day she cried nearly the whole day, the second - fifth day would only swim to Whitney and then there on she thought she was a pro! She would tell Whitney I can swim down there and turn around by myself! She is crazy under the water. During the second session she no longer needed me to hold her hand while she jumped off the diving board, she will just jump to the teacher. She also dosen't want to swim to the side with her noodle, she wants to swim by herself! It is fun to watch her learn so much! Oh how we love our swimming lessons and swim teachers!

When Marcus is not swimming he is always doing flips under the water, he is one crazy kid!
Marcus is a really good diver! It makes me happy to see him be able to do it because I do not like to dive, so I never have done it the right way!

The kids have been very busy this summer and they have also had to deal with their over tired, gag at the drop of a hat mother, but every once in awhile we try to do some fun things. This day we made play dough that you can eat out of a cake mix-they loved it!

We decided to have a little fun family night! We headed over to Logan had dinner, I know I sound like a broken record saying this but it is so nice going to dinner and having piece while we are there. We then went to the park with the kids, they loved walking around the park with the animals feeding the ducks and looking at the peacocks. I hope my kids remember these moments as a family, because we had a great night!
