ATK Ares Test Firing
Me, the kids, and Molly went out to meet my dad when they did the 2nd test firing and this time it was a success! We had a lot of fun, Marcus got out of school early so he thought that was great! We took out pizza and bread sticks with us and had a little pizza party while we waited. Once it got closer to the count down you would find yourself just kind of holding your breath hoping that this time it was a success. Marcus and Alec enjoyed watching it and Olivia was a little concerned with the noise, fire, and smoke!
Golden Spike
While we were out in Promontory and Marcus had the day off of school we decided to go to the Golden Spike train station. The kids thought it was really fun. There isn't a ton to do, but they enjoyed going outside and looking in the trains. I think one of their favorite things was making a smashed penny! We had a very fun "educational" day!

Go Bears!!!
We went to the Bear River Homecoming game. We had a really fun time. I don't think I have gone to a game for about 8 years. Carson and the boys try and go to a couple a year, so they look forward to it. It is a little weird to watch boys play High School football when I have memories of them being little boys! It was fun watching the halftime with the Cheerleaders and Hi-Steppers. Olivia loved watching them dance. Her swim teacher Whitney is a cheerleader and she loved watching her Whitney "dance". She actually keeps wondering when her cheerleaders are going to come over to her house!

Fall Soccer '09
Fall soccer came and went very quickly. The weather was overall great and the boys had a wonderful time loving that their dad was their coach! It was such a fun season having the boys on the same team really getting into the game. They were both very aggressive and tried very hard. They each scored a couple of times for the other team, but they did a great job. Having this be Marcus' 4th season he did a really good job at getting in there and getting the ball and making lots of goals. He played soccer ever second he got, brakes at school, after school, etc. Having this be Alec's 2nd season he did a great job. Last year he wasn't too sure about soccer, but this year he loved it. He is very fast and was quite aggressive. It was fun watching Carson coach both boys, I think he also enjoyed it! Now we will look forward to a cold spring soccer season!!!

Safety Fair Week
There was one week were the kids learn different safety things. One night they have a Safety Fair were police officers, fire fighters, and nurses come. They have a fire house were they learn what to do if there is a fire, they have the crash test dummy thing, a fire truck were they get to ride up in the bucket, nurses checking there height, weight, blood pressure, they have cops who take a print of their hand prints, and they give away healthy food to us. The kids love going and look forward to it. This year we went at the same time as our friends Josh and Emma, that was an added bonus for my kids.

One day for lunch we had sandwiches and veggies dipped in ranch. Well I walked out of the room and came back to see Olivia helped herself to the ranch! She dumped out almost the whole bottle of Ranch. For those of you who know about the famous Atwood's Ranch you know it isn't cheap, so yes we re-used, it made a great veggie dip!!

Fun to see all the things you've been up to. We'll have to plan a time when Whit and some of her cheer friends could come and surprise Olivia. That would be fun. I wish we would've got a picture of her with Whit, maybe during basketball. While you were in Promontory you should of wandered up and seen Scott, we are just real close to the spike.
You always have the best ideas!
Hey....looks like you were out in my old neck of the woods! I have not been out to The Golden Spike for quite awhile! HOw are you? I can't believe you are almost going to have number 4! Good luck!
