St. George

~I know I am so behind on this, but I have been trying to catch up, but I am going to do better! So here is the start of a lot of updates!~

St. George
{March 24-March 30}

Once we found out that Carson would be leaving in April we decided that it would be fun to get away and go stay with my Grandma Carlson. We had two reasons 1*PLAYING and 2*Carson working :(! It had been 3 years since the last time we went down their too stay. We had 3 kids and Olivia was 4 months old and now this time around we had 4 kids and Payter was 3 months old. The kids did overall well in the car. I timed for about 1 hr 30 minutes every 12 minutes Marcus would ask "Are we there yet", Carson and Olivia had a song from a show that they kept singing, Are we there yet, and then Payton hates his car seat and cried from Ceder City on, but other then that the ride was okay!!!!
We are so lucky to be able to go stay with my Grandma, she kept us well fed and watched Payter so we could go play with the older three. I think the two of them had a lot of fun together. They really enjoyed this chair!

One of our favorite things to do was go hiking. We had to go a couple of times. We all had so much fun, but if you know Alec then you would know that this his is love! He is ALWAYS trying to find something to climb, I think he could have lived there if we would have let him!

This is a proud parent picture! Look what we have created, four beautiful children! 2010

Look at how cute these three are! This was taken three years ago....
Man what a change! 2007

This is what you have to do when a 7 year old thinks he is getting picked on every second, they need a swift kick in the fannie!

Mr. Marco Man 2010

Alec Mason 2010

Princess Olivia 2010

Look at how strong our Big Daddy is!!!

The many poses of Olivia. She was so funny, every other second she would say to us, "hey guys get a load of this!" Then she would pose and want us to take another picture! Very funny little girl....

One afternoon we let the kids play in the fountains. They had a lot of fun and we so silly!

One of the highlights of the trip was going to Sand Hollow. The kids loved it. It was beautiful weather and I was such a good mom and let all my kids get sun burned! I guess there is a first for everything, right...
The water was a little cold, but the kids didn't seem to mind it. Honestly I don't think there is anything better then being able to spend such devoted time with your kids, no tv, no friends, no phones, no internet; just Carson and I with the kids!

Olivia kept saying to Carson, "hey Dad marry us!" After a couple of times of her say that we caught on that she wanted to be buried!

One day when Carson was working me and the kids went to the park. We had a lot of fun trying out all the toys. We even let Payton have a try on some of the toys!
One day we went to the pool. The kids had a lot of fun. A took Alec a couple of minutes to remember what a good swimmer he was and it took a few times of me pushing Olivia to Carson for her to remember that she knew how to swim, but after we got all of that out of the way we were good to go!

On our way home from St. George we decided to stay in a hotel one night so the kids could do what they love and so we could hold onto our memories of our little family vacation a little longer! Payton was also able to get in his swimming suit for the first time and get in the pool for the first time, he really enjoyed it!

Payton very tired from all of his swimming, hehe!!!
The kids can never get enough of Payton!

Once we got home I got sick with some sort of flu bug that lasted about 6 days, it was no fun and made it really hard getting everything settled at home. It was also hard coming home from this vacation because that made it that much sooner that Carson had to leave, so we really would have been fine if our vacation could have lasted longer or forever!!!
We had so much fun, we love making memories with our little family. We are so grateful for Grandma Carlson for allowing us to have a nearly free vacation!!!!
