Christmas 2007

What a wonderful day, I can hardly believe that it went by so fast. Christmas Eve I told the boys that we would not get up before 7 am. So shortly after crawling into bed(3 am) Alec came into our bed and then went to bed. Well Olivia went to bed not feeling to well so by 5 she was up throwing up all of herself and me, so that quickly woke up Alec and then shortly woke up Marcus. They couldn't go back to sleep so Carson and the boys talked about everything under the sun while Olivia and I tried to get a little bit of sleep. By seven we were up, but Olivia sleep as long as she could. It was so fun watching the boys come out and see everything that Santa brought to them. You know leading up to that moment you have the fear of hoping your child isn't disappointed about not getting everything they wanted(I mean there minds changed about thirty times up until that day) so to see pure excitement on the faces made the morning priceless! The boys were even excited to see that Santa didn't even forget Hudson! He got a soft little bed pillow think and a blanket, I think he really likes it! Olivia woke up around 8, the boys were so excited to show her all of her things. Of course she loved her babies and she likes to clam on and off of her four wheeler, but she really doesn't like it to move yet. She is very smart and knows exactly how to make it move, but after she goes about 2 feet she turns around a little nervous and starts to crying.

Lucky for us we stayed home for the most part. In the morning the boys wanted to get show Nana and Papa there new bikes and Alec wanted to show his costumes and then later that evening when my sister came to town we went over there. Carson's parents came to visit us with his brother Nicklaus his wife Nicole and his brother Jonathan wholives in OR. My parents go the Wii so when we went over at night we started to play it. When people said that they got sore from playing I wasn't to sure why, but after playing a couple rounds of boxing (and winning), my arms became very sore and I now know what people are talking about. We are actually really enjoying playing the Wii, Marcus has informed us that is what we should get next year. So last night when we went over to play I had a very hard time moving my arms to box, but yes once again I did win!

This was the peacfulness of our house right before the kids walked out. I had to take a couple of pictures to treasure what we don't have very often in our home!

For a family gift we got the talking Parrot, Marcus really wanted this so he named him Perky! Perky through the night was very noisy, Carson and I are not sure what we gave into and bought for our kids! While we were getting ready the dumb bird kept talking and singing, we do not know how no one woke up. It was quite funny because I was getting after Carson for walking in front of it and Carson was telling me I was walking to hard! For what ever reason, it would not stop talking! The things we do to make our kids happy.
