Okay I am 4 minutes past our actually anniversary, but I just had to make a post on it anyway!
Who would have guessed 12 1/2 years ago a little high school crush would have lasted and then some! I really wanted to post our first picture together, but I also wanted to leave our wonderful looks in the past. For all of you who knew us in the past think of Carson's wonderful hair and for some reason or another I didn't like wearing to many pieces of clothing! Like I said we are trying to be a good example to the 6 little eyes in our home, so I will leave that picture off! We have now been married six years. When I think of six years I think of kind of being newlyweds, but I know I for sure do not feel like a newlywed, I feel like I have been married forever!
Look what we have accomplished in 6 years:
3 kids
60 out of 72 months I have either been pregnant or nursing!
2 homes we have owened
5 moves
3 vehicals
100,000,000 (I am sure if not more!)dirty diapers!
College Graduation (also 2 high school gradutions-back in the day)
1 Young Men President
2 Cub Scout callings (we have that scouting spirit deep in our hearts!)
1 dog
1 fish (not counting the dirty gross one we got at the fair that made it a day!)
5 speeding tickets (this is just counting while married and unfortuntely more then half of them are mine!)
These are just a few things that I can think of, but I am sure there are more!!
On a more serious note, marriage I love it! I can't say it has all been blissfull and romantic (refer to line 1 and 2 of things we have accomplished for a possible explanation!), but I am so happy that we have let go of our stubborness long enough to realize that marriage is a full time job or team that we are cheering on to when the Super Bowl or World Series! When you are little you watch all of these love stories that makes it look so blissfull with pure happiness. It doesn't show that their are two people who were raised different or two people who have different interests and hobbies in life! I believe all of these young families have so much on their plates. Husbands working and or going to school, wivies busy doing mommy duties, kids wanting all of the attention. Don't you honestly wonder on a daily basis if you will get a moment alone to talk to your husband or wife.
At the end of the day though could life get any better then knowing you are safe and loved by your eternal companion?! Yes there has been wonderful times and yes their are hard times, but I pray daily with the combination of those two things that we can continue trucking on each and everyday remembering this one special day that brought us so much piece, happiness, love, joy and take us to the next day of learning more about one another and finding more piece and love in our home.
I feel very blessed for being with my bestest friend and for being blessed with my amazing family! It is amazing how people are just meant to be with one another. Do you think that by being with your soul mate that it makes it easier to endure the subborness, hormone changes, crazy schedules, family sickness, moves, job changes, etc?
How grateful I am for Carson and everything that he does for me and for our kids. He is a very invovled dad who has three little kids and a little doggy that love his attention every minute of his life! I am grateful that Carson has patience for my flaws and that I have patience for his! I am grateful for the trials, the people, and the experiences that we had before we got married to teach us to be better, stronger, more patient, and happier people so that we could bring all the postive things into are marriage to help get us to where we are today!
As we are nearing this magical time of year where little kids (and adults too!) of their little dreams and hopes come true. So I feel fortunate to have this wonderful time of year a time when I can share this wonderful day with Carson and remember that six years ago my dreams came true and I married the love of my life! I love you Big Daddy, Happy Anniversary!

Courtney,
This is Allyson Bowcutt (was Dallin) I worked at the flower shop with you when I was in High School and Carson was on a mission. I came across your blog as I was "blog hopping" and thought it was so fitting that I found the wedding pics.:) I remember watching you in tears in the flower shop and how glad I was when you two decided to get married. Your kids are ADORABLE!! Congratulations!! I also remember all your nanny stories and I love to see what a great mommy you are. I married the high school sweetheart, too. Things have never been better.:) Come visit my blog... www.kevinandally.blogspot.com
