Marcus right before school, check out his new backpack with wheels! So the first day of school has came and gone! We started off this morning getting Marcus up a little bit before the 2 little ones did so we were able to talk to him and get a few more hugs for the day. After we ate breakfast, Marcus' choice eggs and ham, we got it him all dressed and then off to school we went. I was glad that Carson was able to come and join in the fun, sometimes I think he misses out first hand how the experience turned out so I was grateful that he was able to witness him going to school and not just hearing about it. It went great, before we left he said that he remembered where to go, so no one needed to walk in with him. Well that didn't happen, but as you can tell he was ready. As we were walking off I was getting all teary eyed and I looked at Carson I asked him is this when you try not to cry? Well the tears only fell for a few minutes, but then it just turns to realization how ready he is.
After school we went and picked him up and then headed to the park for a little picnic lunch with some friends. It turned out to be a great day! I think he enjoyed himself, so let's do a little toast to a good first day of school and hope for many more to come!

What a darling cake! Check out my blog, I tagged you! I'm glad to see that everything went so smooth!
What a cute little Kindergartener. Yeah, I have told Carson to take care of him... I hope he gets to see him. The last grade in elementary is almost as hard as the first. I just know what a transition kids can make in their goals and dreams when they hit the bigger schools and I am scared to death. I have no idea why!!!
You're such a sweet mom Courtney!
I can't believe it's here either. I'm kinda glad just because Holden is starting to get bored. He doesn't start until next Wednsday. I won't even be able to take him which sucks, but my mom will be here and she usually makes everything way better and more fun than me.
Only you! You leave all of us other mom's in the dust. Seriously a party at the park and a bus cake!!! He's a lucky boy to have a mom like you!
Wow! Kindergarten already. It goes by fast doesn't it? Those boys are so cute. That is such a good idea to have a little party in the park.
So Fun! You are such a fun mom! I love the idea of the school bus cake! He looks like he had a great first day!
Wow. Marcus is way to old! All of your kids are so beautiful and growing up fast. I love the pics of Olivia. Whoever did them did an awesome job. I'm glad we can correspond this way, since I don't see you as much as I'd like!!
I'm glad to see that you survived! They have grown up too fast! I am really excited for them to start this new journey, even if I am a little sad. I hope Marcus loves it!
I can't believe he's already going to Kindergarten. I remember your baby shower like it was yesterday. As I was reading your blog, I had Kate in my lap and when she saw a picture of Marcus, she cooed and cooed. She likes her cousin Marcus.
Are you sure you're old enough to have a child in kindergarten? It seems so crazy to me.
What a cute, smart boy! My first grandchild to go to kindegarten! How did that happen so soon! Love you, Marcus! Grandma Lani
How fun for Marcus! What a fun idea with the bus cake. It was good to see you while we were in Utah, for a little bit anyways. Your kids are so cute. I love the pictures of Olivia you just had done. They are DARLING!
