I can't believe it is here!

About 6 years ago today I had a baby shower for my little Marcus. I remember getting so excited to meet him and be able to use all of the fun things that we got that day. I also remember thinking it will be forever before I ever have to use these things. Before I knew it he was sitting up playing with toys, using his high chair, walking around in his walker, etc. It honestly amazed me how fast time seemed to go for him to use all of his baby items. Now 6 years later I just tucked my little Marco into bed after his dad gave him the big father's blessing right before going to school. Honestly where has time gone? So I have many mixed emotions about his whole day. I am happy because he is very ready to go (I actually wish it was longer then 2 1/2 hours a day!) and then I am sad because that big day is here! All of these thoughts and emotions have been running through my mind today, have we done enough to prepare him and what if we haven't taught him enough then what?... I also think I do really well with the thought of him going to school until I think, he won't be done with school until possibly being married!
So as we start this new adventure in our life I pray that we have done enough and that we will continue to be in tuned with what we need to do. Marcus Carson we are proud of you and we look forward to a great new adventure with you! We love you Big Guy!!!
