Day Six
Today was probably one of the most adventurous days so far. After Carson had changed a diaper on Wednesday he noticed that something didn't look quite right with his little circumcision. We had called that day to make an appointment with his Pediatrician, so we had a Doctor's appointment for today first thing in the morning. After getting the boys off to school Carson, me, Olivia, and Payton were headed over to Logan. We found out that he has a infected circumcision. When I told the Doctor that I guess it is good to only have had 1 out of 3 boys get one then that was okay, but he told me that it is really rare it get an infection. He had to be put on an antibiotic for a week and a cream down in the private area. Hopefully it will heal up fast, it is just something you don't want to have problems with! We also found out at the Doctor that he had gained an ounce from when he left the Hospital, he weighs 6lb 1 oz.
Olivia loves holding her baby brother. She only holds him for a few seconds at a time, so you have to watch very closely because when she is done, she is done! You have to make sure you don't miss the hand off. One time I came very close to missing it, lets just say it is a good thing that I didn't miss it or it wouldn't have been pretty! She has been such a big helper and has handled this Big Sister stuff really well. I am lucky that she listens to me when I tell her she can't pick him up all by herself. She will always say, "this baby is yours and mine, huh!" What a funny girl.
