Fair Week 2010

As the fair week was beginning and we saw the rides going up one of my boys said, "I can't believe it is already fair time again!" They were so excited! It is funny to think when they are older they will not like that they fair comes fast because that will mean they are starting school again!

This year was total different, we were miss our Big Daddy a ton! Between being a single parent, doing another wedding, sports games, and 5 antibiotics for a sinus infection it wasn't as fun as past years. Don't get me wrong we enjoyed it, but we didn't live there and enjoy all the yummy food that we usually do! On the first night we talked Nana into riding the Farris Wheel with they boys, while I rode with Olivia, and Papa watched us with Payton. Nana doesn't remember the last time she went on it and I don't think I have gone on it for many years. I can honestly say, it is not my most favorite ride, it seems a little scary with lots of butterflies going on in the stomach! I can't believe that both the boys are big enough to go on all the big kid rides, where did my babies go? After a little bit Nana and Papa took Payton with them and I went around with the three other kids. We ran into friends and cousins while we were there. One one of the rides there was 15 seats and our little group took up all but 3 of them. It was fun watching them laugh and enjoy being with each other.

Nana not to sure what she got herself into.

First time Olivia has rode on the Farris Wheel, she loved it! When we were at the top she said, "mom remember when we had a lot of ants in our backyard, well there are a lot of people who look like ants down there!" What a smart little girl....
