We always love this time of year, it seems to take forever for our annual Rhodes getaway and then once it is here it flies by! Although this year was a little different and we missed Abby and Jayson we still had lots of fun!
It was wonderful this year having Carson around to help me load the car up and we even were able to get up there early! After a few hours of riding 4-wheelers, playing lots, and eating yummy food our sweet little Abby got sick. It made for a very long night for Jaime and Jayson, so the following morning Jayson took Abby home. Olivia for sure missed her partner in crime, but she did a great job keeping up with the four older boys!

We had birthday cake for Marcus' birthday. He does truly believe that our weekend getaway is because it is his birthday!

My kids love Aunt Molly so much! The boys are very close to her and Olivia always says that Molly is her "best friend"!
This year the weather was wonderful, night and day different from the year before. We were able to go for a fun walk. I love fall weather!!!

Nana always likes to do a craft with the kids while we are away. This year she made chalk paint and the kids painted rocks and and made little chalk boards. It is so cute!
Watching movies.....
We liked feeding the horses!
Nana and the two oldest boys. They were gone forever, we got a little nervous when they didn't come back forever because Nana let the boys tell her were to go. I guess we need to give these two boys more credit have how to get around!
We had a wonderful time and we look forward to next year. We are hoping that we all feel well and that we have no sick kids! Thanks Nana and Papa for putting it together for us and thanks to Uncle Steve and Aunt Laureen for letting us go to their cabin again, it is heaven!

Looks like such a fun weekend. Don't you just love times like that. I'm glad you had a good time, love the picture of all the kids on Ry, he's a good sport.
Olivia is getting so big. And I can't believe how much hair your baby has.
