We were very excited in our house when 3 weeks were up and Alec got to take off his cast! Before they took it off they did an x-ray to make sure it was healed. We were holding our breath that it was good to be taken off because Alec was very anxious for it to be off!! When we were leaving I asked if there was anything special we needed to do. The Doctor said, "no high energy activities, no jumping, and no wrestling for two weeks!" We thought abut tying him down for the next couple of weeks since that is all he does..
We are hoping we do not have to see another cast on anyone ever again!!! I am feeling pretty lucky that after being a mother for 8 years we have only had 2 sets of casts and 1 stitches.....
