Idaho Falls....

Marcus had a baseball in Idaho Falls, two games on Friday and two games on Saturday.  Carson wasn't able to take work off on Friday, so me and the kids headed up Friday morning and then Carson met up with us late that night.  A few of the games were fun, going to give me a heart attack, my hair is going to go gray really soon type of games.  One of the games was painful, but we made it through it!

During the first game Marcus did a really good job.  He hit the ball well and he was a good little catcher.  It was the last inning, we were up by two, with two outs and they put Marcus in as pitcher!  My heart dropped and I needed to walk away and just peak at what was going on.  The thing is at this point Marcus only pitches at home with Carson, but his coaches have seen him.  It made me very nervous because I thought it could go anyway, he could pitch and walk them or he could pitch and they could get a really good hits and the game could tie or they could win.  The first batter got up, hit and made it to first.  The second batter got up and struck out!!!  Game over, Bears win 11-9!!!!!!  It was very exciting.....

We don't even like to talk about the second game, it was painful, they boys on the other team are quite a bit bigger then ours.

After the game we loaded up in the van to go check in at the hotel, we also had Jarett because his parents were at Maddie's games in Utah.  While I was in the Hotel checking in the boys came in and told me Payton threw up.  I thought it was a little spit up or something, but boy was a wrong!  I went outside he was covered in it, it was horrible.  We got him all cleaned up and many other team parents helped me out by taking the other kids to dinner, getting medicine for me, it was wonderful.  We have a great team and wonderful parents!!!  We had a few other incidents, but then we watched what he ate and he didn't have any other problems.

Day 2...
Our third game was a good game.  We played them in our last tournament and we had won them by 1.  Marcus didn't have the best hitting game, but he did really well catching.  We won 5-3!!

We had a few hours to spare, so us and the Payne's went to the Falls and let the kids feed the ducks.  Before getting out of the car we reminded the kids that the waters are really high and they are moving fast so not get to close to the water.  Well that made Marcus a little nervous most of the time we were there!

The water in some places were over flowing, it is honestly crazy how high the Snake River is.
Oh how we love Brady, he is so dang cute with the cutest little voice!!!
The grass was so muddy and wet and our little Olivia had a little fall.  Her poor bum was so muddy!

Our Roo was tired, he slept through the whole thing!

It was so pretty, I think I have been to Idaho Falls one other time and I had never been over to the Falls.
Marcus was very hesitant to go very close to the water!

Carson was trying to show him he was safe standing right there.  He thought for sure the cement was going to fall right in!

I was thankful that he decided he could get a little closer!!!

After lunch we headed back for game #4.  Oh we should have won, it was a close one 7-6!  We played really well, Marcus hit well.  We felt good walking away from the tournament with 2 wins!

After getting done with the last game at 5 Carson thought it would be a good idea to stay one more night.  We checked around for a cheap night, so we were able to stay one more night!  We had fun, let the kids swim and just relax.

We also went and saw more ducks and squirrels.  Payton loved it!!!

At one point the boys said, "I want to see if I can hit a squirrel" and Olivia followed by saying, "I want to see if I can kill one!"  Carson and I looked at each other and said, "she has brothers!"

When we went to drive off there was a Mommy duck with her little babies crossing a busy road.  I had Carson stay right by them so they wouldn't get hit.  They were so cute!!

This was our view from our Hotel, it was beautiful!
He wants to be so big feeding himself, but man he is a mess!

We had a wonderful little getaway!!!
