It was so nice to sleep in today and not be rushed to be out and running around first thing in the morning. Alec ended up sleeping in until 10:30 in the morning, he was one tired boy!
I decided to not take off, so we jumped right into our summer jobs and homework plan. The boys both came home with the booklet from the Governor to read and do other fun things throughout the summer. I told the kids that if they will work really hard throughout the summer and work on reading 1200 minutes throughout the summer we would surprise them with something really fun at the end of the summer!
They also enjoyed playing with friends, go to a Library party, and playing baseball. It was nice seeing their cute little faces today, but I did realize I need to buy a lot more food having them home all day long!
