Another year has begun. I often wonder how in the world summers fly by so fast! Don't get me wrong by the time school starts it seems that we are all ready for a more structured routine, but man I miss them and wish I didn't have to share them so much with their teachers for the next 9 months! It is fun watching them get ready for their first big day of school and to see their nerves a little frazzled. But I still struggle with "allowing" them to get older. What ever happened to my little boys? It is true I think way to deep and that is why I get so emotional about change with them, I am working on that! Moving on....
The boys had a great first day. The boundaries of our school changed so some of their closest friends weren't there, so there will be some adjusting to do. Not as much with Marcus as it will be for Alec, they will do great and enjoy finding new friends. But the boys seem to really love their teachers, that is huge for me since they will be spending so much time with them. This year is going to be a good year!
