Since we had games starting pretty early with both boys on Friday AM we decided to head up to Idaho on Thursday night. Man when you pack for four days and at least 8 baseball games you have a full car!! We almost had to leave the kids home to fit everything in....
We sure enjoy Idaho Falls and the Hotel that we stay in. I love the sounds of the water from our hotel room, although our stay up there is not relaxing I do have a relaxing feeling being up there hearing the Falls.
Friday brought 2 wins for Alec's team and 1 win and 1 loss for Marcus' team. Both boys played really well!
After a full day of ball games the best thing for these boys to do is swim, all of us parents sit outside of the pool so tired from watching baseball all day while these baseball players play a little hard while swimming!
Lucy, Olivia, and Emma great little cheerleaders at these ball games!
{I'm feeling really bad that I did not get any photos of Marcus or his team during this tournament. I still love Marcus just the same!!..}
Saturday turned out great, both boys won both of their games. Marcus' team had such a good win, it was a close game that was a nail biter, but we pulled through and won! It was so exciting, I still get excited thinking about how fun it was...
Carson's team ended up playing in the Championship game, what a great accomplishment for them!
It was a good game, we played great. And we became the 8u Idaho Falls Champions!!!
There is nothing greater then this smile right here. He works so hard with these boys, he was one proud Coach!!!! Love this man of mine!
Here are the Champions. I love this photo, it shows that the Coaches are a little quirky always saying little sly, funny comments to one another, thinking they are pretty funny, while every once in awhile the kids are listening probably thinking about how crazy and weird they are!!! These 12 boys are so lucky to have these four Coaches to help them learn so much, they are becoming great little ball players....
Champions of theWorld, oh I mean of Idaho Falls Tournament!
We ended up staying one more night, so glad we did.
What a beautiful view we had for four days!
Getting all ready to head back home. We were glad that the Roche's stayed as well, we needed to play just a little bit longer!
We decided to head down to the Falls with the Roche's to feed the ducks, the kids had way to much fun!
Alec stuck is finger out to far and got bit by one. Marcus checking it out to make sure he would live...
Did I mention I am one lucky lady!!
You just never know what these two are up too. At least they think each other is funny because they get a lot of eye rolling from Tiffani and I!
Before we went home we had to go back to the baseball park that we lived at over the last couple of days because the kids had to show Carson the big play set that he never got to see while Coaching.
Oh and we had to play a little more ball....
We had such a good time, such great memories were made once again!
