Yes, it is true I have a child old enough to be playing sports! As Carson and I sat there watching him we couldn't stop laughing, being proud of him, and being anxious as well! Carson and I have always thought parents yelling on the sidelines are crazy, but don't you worry we were yelling on the sidelines! Well first of all it was so cold, I honestly don't know how those little kids didn't want to give up and go home! So the way it goes is the first half hour they practice and the second half hour they play a game against another team. When the started to practice Marcus wouldn't take his hands out of his pocket (I am not sure if it was a nervous habit or if he was cold), so every time he tried to run and kick the ball it wasn't going so well, so I had to keep telling him, "take your hands out of your pockets!" The last time I told him I told him I would have to sew his pockets shut if he didn't' stop it!
This week Marcus playing against one of his really good friends from school so at one point this little boy fell while trying to get the ball from Marcus so instead of Marcus continuing to kick it he stood there watching his little friend stand up. I am sure you don't want me to do play by play, but just know it was great! I enjoyed it so much!! He also made a goal, so he was pretty happy about that! I think his favorite part was being the goalie. So I think I will give him one more week before we started inviting people to come and watch, so he will hopefully be a little less nervous, but it is just one of those happy, proud mom moments that you can't ever explain! Great job Marco, I love you!!!

I think I missed you when I asked if I could add you to my blog? Please let me know if you want me to take you off. I know a couple of our classmates have commented on reading your site and your business through me so if you don't like it there I will remove it. It's fun to read about you and your adorable family. Hope you are feeling better. Also if you have other e-mail for those in our class let me know. Thanks!!
It looks cold! Soccer season here is blazing hot! It's ususally starts in September and yes it's still in the 100's!
Hey Court! I have a confession...I've been reading your blog for months, but I didn't have an account so that I could comment. You have the cutest kids and you do such fun things. What a great mom you are! I wish my Ainsley had hair like your Olivia. Someday I'll get to use the bows I've been buying. I check your boutique all the time to see if you have bows on it yet. Are they on there and I'm just not seeing them for some reason? You guys are such a cute family and I hope you don't mind that I've been checking your blog. Can I put your link on mine? And you're right, we do have great taste in dresses.
I think they shouldn't start soccer for these little kids until it is warmer. I was trying not to laught the whole time I was trying to coach and ref, it is a funny age!!!
Good job Marus!!! Summer will be very excited to hear he is playing. She is excited for all of her friends to play, but she doesn't want too. We'll have to come cheer him on in a few games.
Your kids take the cutest pictures. I love the fact that he kept sticking his hands in his pockets.
