Nana's Birthday {a little late posting!}

A couple of weeks ago my whole family celebrated Nana's Birthday. We had a great time, my mom loves throwing parties on her birthday because the grand kids get into it so much. Her birthday also always falls around the starting of school, so she always gives them little back to school presents and has them decorate folders so there is a place to put their homework throughout the year. The kids all enjoyed themselves running around and us adults enjoyed just sitting back visiting and doing a little fantasy football drafting!!!! Happy Birthday Mom, thanks for a great party, with lots of yummy food!

Yak Touching Club

Last summer my brother Ryan's apartment had yak's that lived behind him. Ryan would tell Marcus, Alec, Jackson, and Austin that they would need to come over and see the yak's so they could be in the yak touching club. Well obviously with there size once my parents would take them over there so they could see the yak's and have dinner with Ryan they realized that they actually couldn't touch them. They all seemed fine with the fact that there was truly no touching, but Ryan still told them they were in the Yak Touching Club. He also told them he would get them a bracelet made out of yak hair so they could truly be in the club. Well fast forward to this summer when one day last month Austin told me that Ryan didn't let him be in the Yak Touching Club because he never gave him a bracelet. So my mom found these bracelets at the store that could possibly pass for the boys thinking it is yak hair, so Ryan told them all a story about the yak and how he made this bracelet. I know, I know it is all stories, but do you know how cute it is to have those four little boys standing around Ryan thinking how amazing it is to have a yak bracelet?!
