Easter Sunday....

Easter Sunday was such a good day! I didn't get many pictures because in the morning when the kids came to see what they got for Easter my camera batteries were dead, but they had a wonderful time with the things the Easter Bunny brought to them. They really enjoyed the donuts with their name on them, easy breakfast! We spent the morning just hanging out checking out their new things and then getting ready for church. I love getting them coordinating outfits for Christmas and Easter. I think they look like a little ray of sunshine in their bright colors!

{I had to get a couple of pictures to show Olivia's necklace and braclet, I think they turned out perfect!}
Church was wonderful. I was able to teach Marcus' class, I haven't done that for a long time, he is such a good kid. During sharing time they did and activity to see if the kids remembered what Jesus did for us. It is amazing the kids new the answers! After the activity each class wrote a little thank you note to Jesus and wrote their names on the paper and then tied it to a balloon. We then went outside and let the balloons go, so they would go up to Heaven so Jesus would be able to read them. It was such a special moment to see those kids getting so excited about Jesus reading their notes. Carson and I thought what a simple way of letting our kids physically see that Jesus knows how grateful we are to him. We deiced that will be a new Easter activity for us to do every Sunday morning! Sacrament Meeting was fabulous. We had a couple musical numbers at the first followed by our Stake President giving an Easter message. It was so neat, it is hard to even be able to describe the spirit that was in that room. How lucky we are for Jesus Christ dying for us and for the Resurrection. Can you image our lives without those two things happening. I am so grateful for the Gospel, for my family, and for all of the love that Heavenly Father and Jesus has for me and my family. It ended with one of my friends Tanya singing How Great Thou Art, it was amazing! I still get goose bumps and tears in my eyes when I think about how pretty she sang that song. What a wonderful Sunday!

We then came home and ate dinner. We had our Vegetable bunny again, it is amazing how much the kids love to eat veggies when they are using a dip that is in the bunny' s belly. Our bunny this year was a little large! I let it rise to much, oh well it was still yummy!!! We all helped plan the Easter meal this year, we had ham, Alec choose smashed potatoes and gravy, me and Olivia choose salad, rolls, and Marcus choose Apple Pie for dessert and Carson choose Vanilla Ice Cream. It was all so yummy. After eating and resting for awhile we went over to my mom's with the pie and ice cream.

It was such a peaceful day! We love Easter....

Your kids look so cute in their Easter clothes. We should just go shopping for Easter clothes together since we both love The Children's Place. How do you get your kids to pose so nicely for pictures? I wish I knew your trick.

Hi Courtney! I've been catching up on your posts. So many fun things happening. The booth looked awesome! Hope it was some fun and not all work. I do have the kindergarten pic. Send me an e-mail and then I'll e-mail it back. (My address is on Pixie Dust) Maybe you can get it posted before I will. I am so behind.
