The start of our Easter Celebrations!

I decided to do things a little different this year. It always seems like last minute we are hurrying to color Easter eggs and throw any as many little traditions as possible. So I started earlier on those kinds of things. It turned out really good and I think the kids seemed to enjoy being able to take their time and still be able to do other things as well.

We first colored Easter eggs. That was a huge hit with all three kids! The were all so excited to what colors they could mix and they loved writing on the egg with the magic crayon and then being able to see their art work after the colored the eggs.

Next we made Easter egg cakes and decorated them. Once again the kids loved it. The boys loved mixing lots of food coloring eggs to the frosting to see what they could come with.

I am telling you it is the best having little boys and girls, to see how different all of their personalities are and what kinds of things they want to come with while making things. I love that they enjoy making crafts, baking with me, and still being able to enjoy running around in the dirt to see who can get the dirtiest! I realized on days like this when you are not worried about doing all the house work, etc how great it is to be a mom and just let loose with your kids! I feel so lucky that I have been blessed to be a mommy to two boys and a little girl. What huge responsibilities in raising boys and girls. I love that they love me, even though I am far from perfect. I am so grateful for all of the happiness that they bring into my life (don't get me wrong there are days where I want to pull out my hair and I wonder what I am doing wrong!). It is my hope that I will be able to fulfill all things that Heavenly Father has in plan for me. Being a mother is great!!!! {most moments!}
