A Weekend out with Carson...

{April 3-5}
A couple of months ago I was asked to take all of my bows, babylegs, etc down to a dance competition at the Energy Solution Arena. At first when I was thinking about going I was thinking that Carson would stay home with the kids and I would go down with my mom and sisters. Well I was very pleasantly surprised when Carson suggested that he came down with me and we make a weekend of it. My wonderful parents and sister watched our kids and Carson and I were able to enjoy a weekend alone (well with 1000's of other people as well!).

We started off going to a Restaurant our friends opened up a year ago Sonora Grill. I know they are good friends of ours, but it is honestly the best place to eat!!! The prices are great, the food is fabulous, and the atmosphere is amazing. I want to go back about everyday!!! Great job Steve and Emily, I can't wait to go back. We then went to my sisters for a minute and then headed off to the Hotel. After being able to sit in the hot tub for awhile we still had a lot of things to prepare for, so we spent a lot of time doing that (in fact he got 3 hours of sleep and I got 45 minutes of sleep), but I just enjoyed the time we got to talk. I honestly couldn't ask for a better relationship with Carson. I think we daily have to work and keep a strong marriage, but it pays off. He truly is my best friend and is so willing to put up with so much. It shows after sitting at a dance competition for 16 hours! I really am so glad that he thought it would be fun to come help me, I enjoyed every second of his company!!!

We were so tired after it was over that we drove to my sisters house to sleep the second night. She was nice enough to keep her kids quite in the morning so we could sleep in and then made us breakfast. We had a great weekend, but we were sure excited to see our kids!

Ok, that is so adorable! Your hubby is so great! It was probably worth it even if you didn't sell a single thing!! But, hopefully you did well! And I LOVE the picture of Olivia where you're making Easter scones and she's pointing to the camera with her frosting fingers - too darling!!!
