Starting at 1:30 in the morning when Marcus was awake sick I knew that we were going to have one crazy day! As I listened to Carson take care of Marcus throughout the night (because I can't handle that kind of stuff right now) I prayed that it would not pass around to all of us. So we woke up in the morning a little tired, but ready to get some things done. One being going to the store to get stuff to make Marcus homemade chicken noodle soup.
Well our first stop in the store was the bank. Now Olivia thinks she is way to big to sit in the shopping cart so she usually will just walk by me. So there we were at the bank, with the kids standing by me (or I thought), and the cart behind me. I stepped up to tell the teller what I needed to have done, when all of the sudden I hear a lady gasp, a big bang sound, and Olivia screaming. I turn around she is on the ground with the shopping cart on top of her. Oh it was horrible, I felt so bad for her. Her little legs were bruised (I was a little worried she broke them), her ear was bruised, she had a big bump on the back of her head, and her little forehead was looking a little bruised. A couple of people helped me pick the cart up and then I hurried and picked her up. The Pharmacist saw it happen and was quite concerned for head injuries, so after talking to my mom I took her to the Doctor. Luckily everything was fine, but man it was scary!
Once we got home from the Doctor we all laid down to take a nap, when all of the sudden my house shook so hard! I thought maybe I was dreaming, but I heard this bat fall of the boys' hutch in their bedroom, so I was just thinking that maybe it was construction going on. Shortly after I had a friend call me and ask if I felt that also. So after talking to my mom and sister realizing it probably wasn't just construction, the thought of Earthquake ran across my mind. But honestly thought what were the odds for that. Well about 45 minutes later they announced on the news that we had a 3.9 earthquake right hear in our valley. My friend and I were discussing how it didn't last long, but it was scary. Also how scary to think about earthquakes hitting us because we are not prepared at all!
I was thankful that everything turned out yesterday. Knock on wood, no one has thrown up at our house! Olivia didn't get badly hurt and the earthquake was not bigger! And I am so thankful for good friends who offered to make me homemade chicken noodle soup, oh it was delicious!!!

I was wondering if there was an earthquake the other day! I was out in the garden pulling weeds when I felt the ground shake. I heard the fence rattling and the horses in the pasture next to me got spooked and started running.
Poor Olivia... again!
I felt it too! I was sitting on Holden's bed talking to my dad and asked him what the crap was making the beds move. He looked at me like I was out of my mind.
Glad everyone is okay. Oh and I tried to call you when we were passing through Tremonton Monday, but all I got were screaming kids or something in the background.
Seriously I think anything that could happen happens to your poor family!!! I hope Marcus rebounds quick and no one else catches it!!!
Happy Birthday today!! I hope it's the best you deserve it!
Hi Courtney! The shopping cart story sounds awful. Honestly, I don't know how Hudson has not had one of those moments. He is all over the cart like a spider monkey. I am glad she was not seriously hurt.
Oh, and here is the email for that dress on my blog. Gracie's grandma bought it for her at a craft fair in Ogden. I saved the tag because I want to order another one. dfgdesign@yahoo.com
Have a great day! Hopefully things are going better.
Hi Courtney, I just tried to leave a post and it did something funny and then kicked me off. So if it turns up and I double post...Sorry!
The shopping cart story is awful. Hudson has had some close calls himself, and I always worry about it. I am glad she is okay!
Also, here is the email to the lady that made Gracie's dress on my blog. Gracie's grandma bought it for her at a craft fair in Ogden. I saved the tags because I want to order another one.
