Carson: You Dial 9-1-1, but you only do it if it is a real emergency. If you dial it just playing around you will get in lots of trouble and so will me and mom. And they will send the cops to our house to see if everything is all right.
Alec: Or they might send a Super Hero!

I love my little Alec so much. I love his tender little heart and how there is just a quite presence about him. He gets so shy about certain things, one being having his turn at saying the family prayer. He is my one child that says I can't a lot. So last night when we told him it was his turn you could tell he was getting a little nervous (I mean his turn is every third day or so), but I reassured him that he could do it. It was the best prayer, it came close to bringing tears to my eyes!
"Heavenly Father, thank you for the baby, thank you for Heavenly Father, thank you that daddy could travel safely for work, and thank you that Hudson is safe and healthy. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen."
There is just something about his little personality that his little prayer just touched me. I grateful I am for kids and the simplicity that they bring into our lives.
