End Of Summer Activities....

{August 26-29}

Box Elder County Fair
We were all surprised with how fast the Fair rolled around this year, but the kids enjoyed it every second of it. It was kind of strange to not have to take a stroller this year. Oh man my 3 kids are getting so big, I guess it is time for another one!!
We started off going to the Parade. The kids enjoyed seeing all of the horses and Olivia really enjoyed seeing the dancers! We then headed out to the fair to ride some rides. Marcus and Alec are getting big because the want to ride on the bigger rides instead of the "kiddy" rides. It makes you a little nervous to watch them, but the enjoyed it. The second night they could pick to rides to go on, but my Marco Man decided instead of riding of rides he wanted to ride the mechanical bucking bull. He has wanted to do that for years and he finally did it and he loved it! It was kind of fun when he did it because my parents and some neighbors were there to watch him. Everyone was there cheering for him, you could tell that he thought it was pretty cool what he was doing.
They also enjoyed seeing all of the animals. They had a little petting zoo that all three of them really enjoyed petting them.
And you can't figure the yummy homemade ice cream and the colorful Carmel apples! There is just something about a hometown fair. It is just something to look forward to every year....
Where was this child's parents? Apparently I wasn't paying attention to my child standing up on a ride!
The kids love the dragon roller coaster. Olivia loved it and screamed the whole ride, the loudest she could!

My handsome bull rider!

This was probably Alec's favorite ride. It went way up high. He looked so little on this ride. Every time he rode it he was the littlest one on the ride.

This ride is the Ring of Fire. Marcus is in that ride. He liked it, but it hurt his shoulder so he never wanted to go on it again. The poor kid rode it the first night and complained about his shoulder hurting the rest of the week.

ATK Ares Test Firing {Attempt}

Me, the kids, Molly, and my Mom went and met my dad out to his work so that we could see the test firing. My kids were very excited, the love to go to Papa's ATK work. Unfortunately at 20 seconds right before the counting gets fun the clock stopped because of a problem and it wasn't able to get fixed right then, so the postponed it for a later date.
