1 Month Old....

My bright eyed guy is 1 month old today! I can't believe his first month of life went by that fast. I sure wish the first month of my pregnancy went by that fast! He is such a sweet, wonderful baby. We love him so much, we can't get enough of him. Starting at about 2 weeks old is when he realized that eating was important! He would actually wake up around every 3 hours to eat and would actually eat instead of going back to sleep. He still sleeps so much, but when he has his eyes open they are beautiful and big. That is why I call him my bright eyed guy. He is a good sleeper at night as well, he gets up about every 4-5 hours, I can handle that!

I love how the back of his hair sticks up with no help, he pretty much has a mohawk with no help. I also love his little side burns and his long eye lashes.

We are still all wanting to hold him ALL the time. The kids still fight over who gets to hold him when, how long, and who is first! Everyone has adjusted really well since we brought him home. I am really quite surprised that no one got jealous!
I am loving having a newborn in our home again! I love cuddling up with him. I love knowing that my body produces enough food to make him grow to be a healthy and strong little boy, I mean lets face it I pretty much produce straight cream!
Today we are on day two of our little Payton not pooping, I feel bad for him. You can tell that he is starting to get miserable. But I feel lucky that I have been blessed to be a mom because it gives me the abliblity that I can wrap him up, hold him tight, and it makes him feel safe and loved!
I am anxious to see what the coming months bring for our little Payton. I don't want one day to go by too fast, but I can't wait to see what kind of little boy he turns into. Will he like the trucks and cars like Marcus or will he like the superheros like Alec? Will his eyes stay blue or are they going to go darker then Olivia's brown eyes, so far his eyes are bluer then any of our other kids, but our pattern is each childs eyes go darker and darker. What will his hair be like? Will it by lighter like Marucs and Olivia's or will it be darker like Alec's hair. So yes I can't wait to see what the coming months bring, but please make it go by slow!
I love being a mom, to four beautiful children! I am grateful that Heavenly Father thinks that I am capable to be a mom to 3 boys and 1 little girl; I am so happy that I am able to experience what both little girls and little boys can bring into our home, they are both so different so it is a blessing to have both!
