Here is my handsome 7 year old boy! Nicole once again did a wonderful job capturing my children's moments in time, so that we can always remember what they are like at that stage of life {thank you so much Nicole, you have helped us make many memories that we will be able to treasure forever!}. We went out to my Grandpas "Farm" to take his pictures. I wanted to be able to remember details about my Grandpas house and I also thought it was fitting for Marcus' loves, tractors!
I know he is a few months into being 7, but I just wanted to share some of the things that he is into at this moment. He is continuing doing great in school, learning more and more each day. Back in December we received a very nice note from his teacher expressing her appreciation for what a great student he is and what a great example he is his classmates.
He still would live outside if he could! He loves it, he enjoys walking home from school because it gives him a little extra "outside" time (and goofing off with his buddies!).
He is into every sport that he could possibly be into! He is constantly getting Carson to play some sort of sport at our house. He has so much of Carson's personality in wanting to do the best he can do at anything he does! He learns how to play something and he won't give up until he has mastered the skill! (That even includes playing Yahtzee!!!)
We are so lucky to have him apart of our family. Since bringing home Payton from the hospital I can't even believe what a good helper he has been. I figured he would since when we brought home Olivia he did his best to help and he was only 4. It is so nice to know that when I am cooking dinner or getting in the shower that he is capable to hold Payton and help take care of him. He is really such a good big brother, but he can also be a really pain in bugging Alec!
We love our Marcus and we love all the love (and frustration) he brings into our home. I can't wait to be able to continue to watch him grow and succeed in his life!
