Being a Mom....

For the last little bit I have been filling in at the Restaurant that I used to work at. It works out well because it is only two days a week and at night. Well the last little bit has been a little hard because I have been sick, we have had sick kids, and Payton is just not to sure about me not being close to him!

This past weekend was a little hard on Carson, Payton cried a good part of the time. As soon as I would walk in the door and start talking, he would stop crying and look around for me. As sad as it is for both Carson and Payton when he is struggling, it sure makes me feel good to be home and have him like me so much! When I was pregnant with him I would tell Carson all the time that I don't think he likes me very much because he is making me sick all of the time, so I am very glad that my little man loves me and misses me!

Tonight when we were talking about how funny he is with me being gone Carson came up with a plan. He is going to wear my shirt that I wore throughout the day so when he holds him it smells like me! So if you come to the door and Carson is wearing a pink girl shirt then you will know why!!! {Hehe I am so funny} Really he will not ever do that because I think he would have to grow some boobs as well, but it was a good thought. Maybe what I should do is try and make a blanket or something smell like me. If any of you working moms or moms who have had the same problem have any great ideas please pass them along!

Today the funniest thing happened. Carson was going in for a kiss while holding Payton slightly above his head when all of the sudden he puked in Carson's mouth, down his chin, down his shirt, and on to the floor! Oh my heck it was one of the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life, we were just wishing Americas Funniest Home Videos were watching because we would have for sure won lots of money! It is even more funny to me knowing it is "mother's milk", oh man I'm glad it happened to him and not me!
