Father's Day

Father's Day....
What a day Father's Day was! We were quite sad having our Big Daddy away from us, but we did enjoy talking to him on Skype!
We started our day going to Church. I was put in as 2nd Counselor in the Primary and I was also one of the surprise speakers for the Father's Day program. It was adventurous Sunday, that is for sure! After Church my whole family minus Carson :( went to my parents house to eat Dinner and to celebrate all the wonderful Dads in our lives! My Mom made a wonderful dinner, Marcus loved the Macaroni Salad. While he was eating he said, "who made this salad?" When we told him it was Nana he replied, "Oh hell to Nana!" We all started laughing, I mean where in the heck did he hear that from?
Later that night we were able to go home and Skype with Carson. That is always fun for the kids to do, but I do have to admit it is harder for me! He is so dang handsome and it makes me miss him soooo much!
What we did for Carson was have the kids make a little Tribute to our Big Daddy so we could email it to him. I thought having him gone that would mean the very most to him. We miss him so much, but we are so proud to say that he is "our" Big Daddy! Since he has been gone we talk about him often, we laugh about funny things that he has done. One thing we still laugh about is when he was playing catch with the boys and he feel back on the chair and it broke!

We often talk about how exciting it will be when he comes home. We have already planned everything that we are going to do to him when we see him for the first time and what we want to do when he gets home.
We feel so lucky to know that our Big Daddy would do whatever it takes too make our family keeping on ticking!

I love how much he loves his children. He is so tender hearted towards his kids. Four of my favorite times of my life is having a baby and being able to have the two of us spend so much time together while we can think for 3 days our time has stood still while we spend so much time at the hospital with the new little one. He doesn't get board, he just can't get enough of them {and me:)}!

He has such a special bond with each one of them.

We love that our family is Eternal!

We love all the many laughs with him and at HIM!!!

He loves his one and only little girl! He loves watching her dance, he doesn't mind doing her hair, he enjoys having her sit on her stool so he can paint her toes and fingers, he is really good at helping her get her dress-up clothes on, and he doesn't do too bad at putting on her nails that the Easter Bunny brought her.

I love watching him with the boys. He loves taking them to sports events and playing lots of sports at our house. They are always playing soccer, baseball, basketball, and football whenever they can get a chance. And when I am a nice Wife he enjoys taking them golfing! I love how supportive he is when they are playing their sports. But I also enjoy watching him give them the choice of what they want to play.

He feels so fortunate to be a Daddy to both boys and girls. He loves experiencing both aspects of Fatherhood!

I think it would be pretty safe to say that both boys together when it comes time to wrestle him do a pretty good job at taking him down!

I love to say that for half of my life I have loved this man!

He is our protector....

Our provider....

He is our Big Daddy who we love way too much!
