The Royal Wedding....
I loved watching Prince William and Princess Kate (Katherine) or the more proper name Dutch and Dutchess get married. She looked beautiful! Olivia couldn't wait to watch them "kiss".
Carson kept asking me all weekend while I was watching all of the coverage, "why I wanted to watch it?" I told him there was just something about watching a "real" Prince and Princess get married and that they were going to live in a "real" Castle!!
My mom has always been a huge Princess Diana fan, I remember very clearly when she died and I remember my mom getting up in the middle of the night to watch her funreal. As I watched William and Kate get married it made me sad knowing his mom wasn't there. Oh how I love being a mom and I pray everyday that I will be able to be there for every milestone my kids go through!

As we were watching TV we were very surprised of the news of the killing of Osama Bin Laden. My kids were very curious about why they were talking about this. So we just let them know that our US Troops were able to stop a very evil man. Oh how I felt a sense of relief when this news was being reported. You have a sense of relief thinking that we are one step closer to getting rid of people who want to hurt our country.
I will never forget the day of the 9/11 attacks and what I was doing, what my emotions were. He forever and ever changed our Country, our ability to have trust in people to easily board an airplane. Why people would even want to hurt someone is crazy to me, but I am thankful to know that we have one less evil man living in the world today!
