One thing that is fun for Alec is that him and his Great Grandma Carlson share the same birthday. They are 72 years apart. This is was quite a big milestone for both of them. Alec turned the big 8 and Grandma turned the big 80! We don't always get together on their birthdays, but we decided this was a big deal and that we should make it fun for them! We all went to Steve and Laureen's for a little get together.

Once we were done we headed into Salt Lake because Carson had work things he had to do the weekend of Alec's birthday so he was staying in a hotel in Salt Lake. We were able to walk around City Creek.
And then we were able to treat him to the Roof for a birthday dinner. What a fun evening it was!
After dinner we went back to the Hotel for him to open his presents, by the look of it he was one happy handsome 8 year old boy!
I sure do love this happy, easy going, smiley, giggly guy of mine! How blessed our lives have been over the last 8 years having him in our family!!!!
He was so happy with his new ride....
