Both Marcus and Alec's baseball teams rented out the whole Brigham Pool to ourselves one evening for a fun little celebration of our wonderful baseball season. Before we got into the swimming pool we all met so we could eat and the Coaches could give out awards to all of the players.
As a parent to two baseball boys I just have to give a big shout out to their baseball Coaches. For loving and teaching my children!!!
The award Alec got was the "Orange Crush"! It is because during the last time they played the Orangeman (the one where we won and the Coaches shaved their heads) Alec pitched the whole game and did a great job. His pitching was a good portion of their big win, way to go Big Al!!
The award Marcus received was "Paul Bunion" award. The reason he got that award was because he was always willing to swing his hardest at anything. Yes he was able to hit a lot, at times it looked like he was taking a tree down with him!
The boys had great baseball seasons. Marcus' team could totally improve in a new attitude adjustment, but they will hopefully work out some kinks during their break and be good to go next season. Alec's team ended very strong, but as with anything they can and will grow and becoming stronger little ball players! I look forward to many more baseball seasons to come.....
