I hope everyone is doing well after coming off all of that sugar! Alec Halloween night was throwing up all night, which I then got sick-but we are now better. Thank goodness that strain of the flu was lots better then last time and thank goodness it didn't spread. I am pretty sure anyways it was the flu because he really didn't eat candy when he came home. I am finding after each kid that there are things that make me crazy, one of them is eating to much junk! Thank heavens I am not planning on having to many more kids or I think my family would sell me for having to many weird things that bother me! I just pray that the germ, sick season doesn't get the best of me like it did last year, but hey I am sick of having sick kids!!! I am grateful that I will not have any nursery babies this sick season!!
Now to the excitement of our weekend. On Saturday I had to go to the Dr. in Bountiful so I took Marcus with me and had to make many stops on the way home. It was lots of fun spending time with Marcus! I know that I have mentioned that I am struggling with the 5 year old attitude, but I also think 5 is fun because they understand so much. He also is my worry child so he makes sure that I have my seat belt on, that I am not going to fast, etc. Thanks bud for taking such good care of me! One place we stopped was his favorite Sizzler (man he sure has a lot of favorite places!) while eating lunch I learned a lot about what a little 5 year old thinks about. Like President Hinkley is our Prophet to love us and protect us, Heavenly Father created us with Faith, he has no idea why the sky is blue, when he sees little sibling playing with each other and he is not with Alec he misses Alec. Oh there is so much more, but you got my point of what a little mind is like. Well I had a couple of more stops to make, but I also needed to hurry home so without thinking that one of the stops was to get gas I started on my way. I should also mention that I have lost my mind, I am honestly the most forgetful person ever! So I was about 1/2 mile or less from the Farrwest excited and yes I ran out of gas! Not sure what to do because I didn't really want to call Carson, since this has happened one to many times and my phone was about ready to die! I sat there for a minute with Marcus crying thinking he was going to die (did I mention I had my worry child with me!), so I hurried and said a pray. I then called Carson and he was ready to take Olivia to my mom and come help us out. Right after I hung up the phone I saw a cop coming so I went and talked to him. At first he let me know that he couldn't take me and my son to the gas station, but he then later told me he could. So yes me and Marcus had our first and LAST police car ride. Marcus was thinking it was great, but I did have to tell him I never want him to ride in one again! So thank you Mister Police Officer, this time I really hope I learned my lesson!!!
While we were gone Carson had fun with Alec and Olivia, I think played and played and played. Alec also was able to ride around on the tractor with my dad, so he thought that was lots of fun. I guess on my way home Carson and the kids were over at my parents house and when I called to tell him we were finally on our way home he told my mom he better get home and get them in the tub because they were dirty! Well when we got home Marcus was able to finish off his fun filled crazy day with a tractor ride as well! Well the kids weren't cleaned yet, but it was a good sign that, when the mom is away and they are home with dad you can happy dirty babies!
Alec is now way into Superman (thank you Tiffany and Maverick!!!) so it is very confusing keeping up with which superhero Alec is. But when we got home from Church and I was changing my church clothes Alec put one of my cameo straps around his neck and he all the sudden became Superman with a cape! Also another funny thing Alec said this weekend (sorry I have to write this all down so I can remember it) when he was getting his pj's on that are from Jackson and Austin (you have to love those hand-me-downs) so I looked on the tag thinking where does Jaime get all of her pj's for her kids. Alec told me it was just a tag and I said I know I just wonder where Jaime got this from, he said "from Ausitn's drawer)! Oh by the way Jaime when he puts on the clothes he has to tell us it smells like Austin!
So I know that I have rambled, but I have one more story. I have been telling Marcus and Alec to decide what they want for Christmas so they can put it on a "list" for Santa. Well today I was talking to Marcus about his "list" when he added a new toy to it. It was a bee from the bee movie and I told him I am not to sure what he was talking about. He said I saw it yesterday at Toys R Us, but you were walking to fast so you didn't see it, but don't worry you will see it when Santa brings it to me because it is on my list! Carson and I looked at each with the oh crap look, we need to figure out what that toy is! What a kid!!!

I think I found the "BEE" that Marcus says that Santa is bringing. It's called a Bee Interactive toy and it walks and talks and it's wing flutter, etc...It's on Amazon.com and I'm sure other sites as well..You may have to tell Santa where to find it...
I loved your adventure with Marcus.
I miss my Superhero so much. Enjoy it while you can because they do grow out of that phase. We used to pin pillowcases around their necks (Keat and Carson). Carson has a batman and a Zorro cape that Travs mom made him that he lived in for a few years. And so far... Boys are so much easier than girls! I am about to call Supernanny! I can not handle my three year old horomone machine!
What an day for you two! I enjoyed reading about all your stories and kids do say the greatest things! I hope all went well, let me know.
I love that you guys got a ride in the Police Car. Just wait till Marcus tells his Primary Teacher : )
