Our Wards Primary Program was today and I am a proud mom to see Marcus finally got up and gave his part! Yesturday was the practice and yes I will admit there was some bribing going on! The deal was if he would go to the practice and not cry and I would get him a little something and if he did it today I would give him a little something. I know most of you probably think I am horrible, but somehow I needed him to face his fears and know that he could stand up there and have people not laugh at him. He memorized his part, he did very well practicing for it! During the singing parts we had to giggle while we watched him do a little bit of dancing, who knew you could do a little brake dance moves to I Know That My Reedmer Lives! When it was his group to get up there it was so funny because as soon as he was standing behind the person who was speaking he would move to the back of the line. Finally one of the older girls didn't let him move and he got up there and did. His line was He loved the children and blessed them. He did say it fast (which he told my he was going to so he wouldn't cry) and left out "and blessed them" the primary president stop him and asked him to say the last part and he shook his head and went and sat down.
Today was one of those moments where even though he said it fast and didn't finish the whole line you sat down in the seats a very proud parent! Great job Marcus!

Good job Marcus. I understand the battle of getting them up there. Our program was the first time Summer ever did anything in public without crying or freezing. Our little kids are growing up.
Great for Marcus! I love the primary program it's my favorite sacrament meeting, the kids just bring the sweetest spirit.
Uh, wow your doctor's visit sounded really fun. That's tough having all 3 get shots.
I can just see him up there breaking out some moves, how funny! Great job Marcus!
We would love to get together while were home. I'll ask around and see what everyone is doing so we can plan something. BTW you have a stinkin' cute little family!
