Our Big 1 Year Old Princess

I honestly can not believe my little princess is already one. Where in the world has time gone? What a blessing she is in our lives, she brings so much happiness, love, joy, and a certain sweetness into our home. I love watching the boys get excited over her, I swear the newness of having her has never worn off-the boys still always have to be in her face, picking her up, talking to her, giving her kisses, etc. Somedays I just have to think they are going to want to move on with their lives and stop, but other days I am very glad that they are so into her. Right now for the most part she loves it, we will see what she thinks when she has two over protective brothers when she is 16!I still remember the first time holding her and looking at her from a distance. I could tell that she had chubby cheeks (which she still does), I could see your curly hair (which she still does)and I was not shocked when she was only 18 1/2 inches long, I actually don't know that her legs have grown much since! We will be lucky if she has grown 10 inches in the last year!!! Hopefully Friday when we go for her well check she will move up in the % in height! Do you think you ever really forget that first time you kissed them and smelled their cute little cheeks? Man if I think about it to much, I may start crying! Our little princess brought lots of stress, tears, worries into our lives when she was only hours old. We feel very blessed that her condition was fixed and that it has not happened again. I think she caused her daddy many mini heart attacks during the last year, but he loves his little princess way to much!
This pictures was taken mintues after she was born. My parents and Molly took them over so they could watch the nurses clean up their baby "Cinderella" sister. Can't you tell how proud they are, honestly they are the best big brothers ever!
This is the first time our family was all together!
My first photo of my three angel babies!
Most people know that we had a hard time coming up with her name. I always loved Olivia, but Carson was not to sure about it. We were on our way down to the NICU to give her a blessing and Carson said well what is it going to be? I told him, I really am not sure. As we were both crying, praying that she was going to be fine, Carson said Court she is your little princess name her what you have always wanted to so her name is Olivia Daun (Daun is after my grandpa Don who passed away on Chirstmas of 03, my mom Donell, and me Courtney Daun). Her nickname right now is Princess, we may later regret it but for now it fits her best!
This is the princess when she frist woke up on her birthday, she just kept looking at us as we kept singing to her-not really sure what to think!
Since we had already had her birthday cake we decided hot fudge from McDonalds would be a great treat, she was done hearing the birthday song all she wanted was her ice cream!
Olivia Daun you have such a funny personatlity! You are such a happy content baby, but you are learning to throw great temper tantrums already in your little life! You never did take a binki so we are still learning how to keep you quite in certain circumstances, but we love you anyway! On your birthday you started walking with no prompt, you are getting so big and you know it. Beyond saying momma and dadda, you love to bark like Hudson, and you can't stop saying babies (which is really quite clear). You love playing with your babies and talking to them, but if you are tired you bring me a blanket and tell me babies (which means pick me up!). You truly are such a blessing our lives!

Court I love the post! She truly is an angel and Nicklaus and I love her to pieces. I talked to my mom yesterday and told her of our latest experiences, one of which was attending Olivia's b-day party. My mom thought she was only 6 months old! Time does fly by! We love you guys.

It's hard to believe that time passes so quickly. I think it speeds up more and more with each child. She's just so cute, I love her cheeks!
