A fun day with the kids...

Last Monday (sorry I am a week behind on everything after having a crazy couple of weeks, I will get caught up soon!) we took the kids to the Gateway to go play. It was such a beautiful day, the kids were able to even play in the water fountains and look a week later we wake up to a couple of inches of snow, crazy!
We had a wonderful time, we started out at build-a-bear. My boys love doing that, they now have four of them! This was Olivia's first time going and it was lots of fun seeing her wrap her arms around her little bear.

We then went and got ice cream. The last time we went to build-a-bear was when I was pregnant with Olivia and we went to Ben and Jerry's afterwards. Well Marcus with his wonderful memory remembered two years ago going to get ice cream at the "cow" place, so he insisted on doing that. Afterwards we headed to Discovery Gateway. We had such a fun time, there was something to do for all of the kids. At one point Carson and Olivia went shopping while me and the boys went to the Seseme Street room and learned about our bodies (of course that part cost more money). Our last stop at Discovery Gateway was outside at the Lifeflight Helicopter. Right before we were going to leave Olivia fell and cut the inside of her mouth and her nose started to bleed. Honestly what are the chances that you get hurt on the one thing that saves peoples lives!

Yes, stuff comes out of this nose!

We learned all about what happens after you put food into your mouth, at the very end it makes a little noise like you are passing gas! Honestly!!

Last we let the boys run around in the fountains. That was so fun, I couldn't believe how brave Alec was. It was funny watching him get into his character mode and go karate chop the water.

Olivia was still sad about getting hurt, she had so much blood on her new little shirt!

What a great day! Carson and I are so lucky to have three beautiful, healthy children! We love being able to do fun things with our kids. It isn't always lavish like that day, sometimes it is just going to the park, but we feel so blessed to be parents!

That pic of Carson and Olivia is SO cute!! Sadie was telling me how fun Discovery Gateway is. I'll have to venture. I'm sure Maverick will think the Digestive thing is hilarious at the end. Are your boys as into thinking poop and farts are as funny as Maverick and his cousins? Ay ay ay!!

Courtney,
I just think you are the most perfect mother. You are always doing the funnest things with your kids, and you make every holiday, birthday, ect, so special for them. I don't know how you do it! And your children are so adorable. Olivia always has her perfectly matching bows:)

How fun! I have been wanting to take Gracie there, my sisters want to take all the kids together, so trying to find a day that we ALL can go has been our challenge.. Poor Olivia, those falls are no fun..Oh and yes my mother does say like mother like daughter, but I hope she is wrong! I am beginning to think not...
