This past Monday was my 28 birthday, it was a great day! But I also came to realize a few things.... Moms birthdays are fun because the kids get excited! Marcus and Alec were so excited in the morning that it was my birthday, Marcus said, "mom I have a great idea!" I asked him what it was and he replied, "we can put a candle in your toast and sing to you at breakfast." I thought it was a great idea!!! And other then that nothing really changes in your day! You still have to change dirty diapers (well while Carson was at work), you still have to be the taxi driver, etc.!! All though we had swimming lessons and T-Ball games my family still gave me a great day!
Even though it is one year older (and wiser too), it doesn't feel that different-I mean Carson is over 30 so I am still pretty young right?!

Happy Birthday Court! I still remember after all these years that your birthday is June 9. I thought on Monday that I should call you, but being the slacker I am I didn't. Sorry! Do you remember when we were in grade school that for yours or Tanna's birthday my mom drove us to Walker's in Brigham to go to the movie and then we got Little Caesar's pizza after? Oh, those were the days! I would love to get together with you some time and catch up. What do you think? We actually drove past your house on Easter weekend because I wanted to see where you live. It's a really nice home.
Hey Happy Birthday!! I know what you mean, I'll be 30 here soon and it seems old to me but I don't feel any older it just sounds old...right?? We'll definately have to get together. We'll be home around fair time, Woo hoo!! I wish I could home sooner to help my mom but having my kids with me wouldn't be a help at all. She finally got to come home from the hospital but pretty mcuh stays in her bedroom. Can't do stairs for awhile. I'm sure she is going nuts!! She says she is doing fine but I know she has to be some what miserable. Take care and I'll talk to ya soon!!
