Swimming Lessons....

Well another summer has begun, so my little fish children have arrived and started swimming lessons! Yesterday they actually started on their second and last session for the summer. This is Marcus' fourth year of taking swimming lessons and we have been lucky enough to have the best swimming teachers ever! The main teacher Chrystal just graduated so I was worried all year that she wouldn't want to come back and teach, I truly was ready to do some major bribery, but she is back and we are happy as ever(so I will start thinking of my bribes this year-for next!). Chrystal, Whitney, and sometimes Katelyn are such saints and so good at what they do. I have never seen so many teenagers so sweet and thoughtful to little kids. From four years ago my Marcus crying nearly the whole 45 minutes (for 8 days) to today diving off the diving board and swimming to the other side and my little Alec crying for sure the whole 45 minutes to this year loving putting his face in the water and kicking up a storm just shows what awesome teachers they are! During the first session it rained a lot and was quite cold, but they turned the heater up in the pool to 90 degrees and the kids loved being in the warm water as some days it poured rain on their heads! Us moms on the other hand snuggled up with our warm blankets and some of the little kids would come in their winter coats! The last day the special treat they gave the kids was hot chocolate and chocolate dipped spoons, very funny!! Marcus kept saying to me, "mom isn't it funny they had to give us hot chocolate in June!"
