The other night Olivia and I were resting on my bed, Carson was on the computer in our bedroom, and the boys were getting along very well playing basketball in the hall right outside our door with one of those basketball hoops that you put on a door. The boys were getting along so well, something that I could sit back a listen to daily if I had a choice! Pretty soon I heard Marcus say, "Alec are you sure I can stand on you? It won't hurt you?" Alec replied, "no it won't hurt, you can do it!" Carson and I look at each other, but there was no crying or fighting so we continued feeling kind of like we were flies on the wall enjoying listening to their conversation. A few minutes went by and we heard Marcus say, "Alec can I stand on you again?" Alec replied, "Okay, but it is going to hurt my belly!" I told Carson he better go check out what was going on, so he went out in the hall to see Alec laying on the stool (on his belly) and Marcus standing on him jumping up and down. Alec was grunting the whole time. I guess they figured that they could be a few inches taller having Marcus stand on Alec. Carson told Marcus to get off because he could brake his ribs! I thought it was so funny. I just had a hard time figuring out why Alec would keep going on with it. I guess it was better then yelling and fighting!
I feel so blessed to have two boys to be rough and tough! Marcus and Alec have this love hate relationship were one second all they can do is fight and the next second is get along and play really well together. But one of the things that I love the most about having two little boys is how they protect each other when they are out playing with friends. I can't wait to see what these two little boys become in life. If I were to guess I would say a superhero, sports player, skater, hip hop dancer, and singer!

I miss your new posts all the time. It must be because you save them or something.
I love how well Holden and Owen play together too. I don't ever want to have playdates because they don't need them. But it is love/hate. If I put Holden in TO for beating on him Owen crys and wants to sit by him even though seconds earlier he was being attacked. Ah boys.
