Fall Break

{October 14-16, 2010} 

When the kids had a few days off we decided to go stay in Salt Lake for a few days.  Carson found this newer hotel in Salt Lake that has an indoor water park and a big slid in it.  We were excited to try out a new place.  Once we got there we found out our first night there they gave free dinner and then both mornings we would also get breakfast.  When we went to our room we realized that we had a little kitchen in our room and then there also was a nice little area outside were you could grill food.  It ended up working out perfect.  Thursday we ate dinner at the Hotel and then Friday we grilled us up some pork chops and then ate in our room.  It was a very nice hotel, we gave it a lot of thumbs up!



 

The boys loved this slid.  At night when you would go on it you couldn't see anything because it was pitch black, it was a little bit of a shock your first time going down it.

Here is when he started to get his nickname.  He would throw clothes everywhere.  The older 3 kids would forget that they needed to keep their suitcases closed.  So we were cleaning up clothes quite a bit! 

 The day we were getting ready to leave I was putting all of our food into sacks and I sat this down and before I knew it he had somehow opened up the sugar cookie box and was eating a cookie.  He loved it!

 

Another wonderful thing about this Hotel is you could rent (for free) 3 hours of time in their theater room.  We enjoyed watching Karate Kid.  The kids loved it!

  When we stay in Hotels we basically go for the swimming part.  The kids love to swim.  We basically stayed at the hotel the whole time.  Between swimming and the theater room the kids thought they were set!

Friday during the day we took the kids to Thanksgiving Point to do some different activities.  It really helped you to get into the fall spirit, it is so pretty.

These 3 are pretty dang crazy! 

Oh she was in heaven riding a pony in her cowboy boots! 

We ended our weekend by stopping by Chuckie Cheese on our way home.  The kids had a lot of fun, they loved winning a ton of tickets!

We had a wonderful time, we wished we could stay longer!
