Payter Roo is Two

{December 11, 2011}

After a few tears shed I am able to accept the fact that my wonderful baby boy is two years old!  How did I allow for this to happen?  We love this little guy of ours so much, he is such a wonderful part of our family.  We all just fall all over him, we just can't get enough of him and all of his deliciousness!!

We had been talking about his big birthday for quite awhile.  He was really good at saying he was two long before he really turned two.  After having Marcus' and Olivia's birthday pretty recent he was still really into singing Happy Birthday, he was pretty amused that we were actually singing it to him.  Right when he first got up the older kids could not stop kissing him and hugging him reminding him it was his birthday, so very first thing we had to open presents.

{I'm so sad that the battery in my camera died two pictures into his birthday!  And I'm so sad my phone camera's settings was weird.  So we didn't get great pictures:(!}

 He loves cars, loves them!  He really loves Lighting McQueen and Mater-Payter, but any car will do.

 His other love is Mickey Mouse.  We doesn't love Mickey?!!  One day we were at Costco when he saw this huge Mickey Mouse, he had a really hard time parting with him, so the kids thought it would be the best present ever!  I think they were right, he was so happy.

 We had cute Santa french toast.  It was a huge hit (Big Daddy thought it was the bomb!).

After church and eating dinner we headed to Papa and Nana's for cake and ice cream and to open more presents.  Payton has quite the obsession with Papa and Nana and Papa and Nana have quite an obsession with him.  Most often he wants to see them if he is home with us and if has been with them and we are taking him away from them he will throw a fit!

I love how at such a young age they get the whole blowing out the candle thing!
He had a wonderful day!

Here are some things Payton is up too....

He is not a very big talker, but he is such a smart kid and he knows how to tell us what he wants.
He says... Mom, Dad, Nana, Papa, Eia, Bubbas, stuck, I love you, Thanks, Please, No (he says it really good), poopt, mine(that is what he calls his binki), eat, me, I want to go, and I'm sure there is a few more I just can't think about it.  I am sure in the next little while he will start talking lots, but he is #4 and I guess I'm not to concerned right now.  He knows everything we are talking about and he is a great mime!

Since he is home with Olivia most days he is getting the dancing and cheering thing down really well.  He loves to play duck, duck goose, ring around the rosies, and roll call with her.

When he is with the boys he loves to be rough and tough, just like them!  He will try to tackle, play basketball, football, and baseball.  He will do flips of the couch onto the bean bag chair, he will also jump of stairs to the bean bag chair (neither activity I enjoy having him do:))!

He is so cuddly and such a kissy face boy, I just can't get enough of him!  He has beautiful big blue eyes that can melt your heart in one second.  I really wouldn't mind bottling him up and not ever letting him grow up!

I had to share this little video of our silly boy.  One day when I was painting Olivia's room he came in being so silly...
