Thankful for an Eternal Plan...

{September 2011}

We were all so sad that the time came for Grandma Allen to return to live with our Heavenly Father again.  Even though we felt so sad, it was so nice to know that after suffering with Alzheimer's for many years that she would be made whole again.  She was such a sweet lady, someone that you looked up to.  Her love for her husband, her family, and our Church was amazing.  I am thankful for her and the wonderful example she was to me and anyone who came in contact with her.  She is deeply missed, and we can not wait until we can "meet again."

I am so grateful to live around family so that we could be apart of remembering her life with all of our family.  Grandpa Allen asked Carson if he would give the Family Prayer.  He felt very honored by that, Carson did a wonderful job!  The funeral was so wonderful to listen to, all of her children did such a great job giving their best memories of their mother.  All of the great grandchildren sang, man songs and children at a funeral is a real tear jerker!
