So finally this weekend we remembered that our boys needed new church shoes so that they didn't have to walk funny with their feet shoved in shoes that were to small! Alec was pretty proud about his shoes and before church he made it known to Marcus that he was big and got his shoes on all by himself and Marcus couldn't, Alec's shoes were slip on's and Marcus had to have his shoes tied. So before we even walked out the door Alec already made Marcus feel bad and so Marcus was mad that we bought those shoes for him and not other ones. Well when Carson went to pick up Alec from nursery one of the teachers told Carson that Alec told everyone that he got new shoes and they are cooler then everybody else. Honestly, were does he come from! I promise we don't teach our children that kind of stuff.
It has been a very long time I feel like (OK so only two years) when I have had a almost one year old that during church thinks they should be able to go where ever they want to go and that they shouldn't have to sit on your lap! Well all I have to say is Olivia has truly taken on the title "princess"! Today was a joke at church. Like I have said before she doesn't like binkies so when she is being loud letting the whole ward know that she wants something that we aren't giving her there isn't even something to stick in her mouth and keep her quite! She really let all of us know who was boss today and I guess for the time being it is her! She is now getting brave taking a few steps here and there and she sure is trying to say a lot of words. So I'm sure until she can walk where she wants to go and say what is on her mind we will be the Callister Zoo at church! The count down is on only 7 months until nursery, although are track record with the boys in enjoying nursery is about 3 years old, so I guess we will see!
Marcus is Marcus! He is getting so big. He loves writing and doing his "math" which is different combinations of numbers. It is so much fun seeing there little minds just a going while they are learning all of this new stuff. He continues to love life and is being a wonderful big brother! Well he either is wonderful to Alec or is tormenting him, but I guess that is what 5 year olds think being the oldest is all about!

We've been the Anger zoo at church for quite a while. There needs to be an inbetween nursery for babies once the start getting mobile and loud. My mom always reassures me that others think it is cute and sweet. It is only when it is yours you feel like you are bothering people.
Totally know what you are saying about church. It is nuts right now, and we just have Lukas. Loved your pics of the Pumpkin walk we are going tomorrow and they got me excited.
Church really can be hard with kids! I'm excited for you to get you to get your pics taken by Susan. Jaclyn had her newborn session a couple of weeks ago, and it was so much fun! Usually pictures and fun don't really go together...but she makes it fun! She is really easy to talk with. I wish that I could see you guys this weekend but I'm headed to Cedar City for my cousin's wedding. We will have together soon. :)
Kortnee..
You helped me to convert into the blogging world, you were such a good example of a faithful blogger... But I just thought you might want to know, you have not updated your blog in THREE days!! I sort of expect more out of you! I want something new to read!!
Nicklaus told me that at family night Alec kept calling him "Marv," ex. "What you doin' Marv?" I'm sad I missed all the family night fun, but you're right. I did enjoy my peace and quiet. Remember when Carson told Marcus that Nicklaus's name was "Uncle Poo Poo?" Good grief. :) Love you guys!
