Family Traditions

Isn't it fun to make family traditions. Most of us reading are new little families have started to make family traditions or are thinking about what traditions they want to make. What better time then this time of year! Pumpkin walks/patches, decorating cookies, carving pumpkins, trick or treating, the list can go on and on forever! Fall is my most favorite time of year, leaving back East really makes you appreciate how beautiful Fall really is. Not only the pretty colors, but the weather (well Utah has a little harder time with Fall weather, but you know what I am talking about!). I hope that the family traditions Carson and I are making with our kids will always make Marcus, Alec, and Olivia appreciate the beauty, the smell, crisp air, the costumes, parties, treats, carving, etc. look forward to the Fall months and when they get older to think what tratitions they will want to make with thier families.

Tonight we carved pumpkins with the kids and Molly! We had a wonderful time. I don't know who got more grossed out by the inside of the pumpkin Alec or Molly, it was honestly so funny! Marcus and Olivia loved touching the inside of the pumpkin. And Carson loved cooking the pumpkin seeds. What a wonderful night with the end out come of some very cute pumpkins!

Take a close look at Alec's clothes. He couldn't decide today if he was Batman or Spiderman, so the top shirt is Batman and the red shirt underneath is Spiderman. He honeslty is the funniest kid, he truly believes he is Batman, Spiderman, Ninja Turtle (which he always has to put out when we are on walks were they live), Power Ranger, and now a Transformer depending on the day. Usually he is Batman or Spiderman though, what a kid!

Hey Molly why aren't you in any of the photos?

Just wait until Olivia can decide what to wear.... Macy's favorite things to wear are things that are funky stripes or polk a dots. Sometimes she comes of her room after her nap wearing something of her own doing. Cute pumpkins! Macy wasn't that interested in the whole carving thing, she was completely grossed out by the guts too. She is a bit of a clean freak when it comes to her hands.
