Marcus' First Day of being 5...

Our new little family
A Proud new Daddy

Can you believe how little they are?!
I'm Five!
Marcus being the big helper at school
He is already to make a big wish!
I think Marcus is going to be the next Tiger Woods!
Marcus loves trucks and helicopters

As this day comes to an end, I thought I would share some photos of Marcus as a newborn baby and now a big 5 year old boy. As I looked through his scrapbook, I thought back to becoming a new mom. Wow! At times I thought it was scary and hard. And now I look back to those days and I would still probably think there were times that it was scary, but hard no way one child is the easiest thing in the world!!!!

Parenthood is the greatest gift that I could have ever been given! I have to say that I am so grateful for Carson who not always willingly agreed with me that it was time for another baby, but did it anyway because we have been blessed in more ways than I could ever imagine. Carson and I are almost ready to have our sixth anniversary and we have three kids. I do realize that sometimes it sounds crazy, but it is our lives and we would never change one thing about how it has turned out!

I am a little nervous to go through this next year. I think the age of five has came with some attitude, complete know it all, a little too much mouthiness, and did I mention attitude! So I pray for patience, understanding, love, and an imagination to be able to help fix the attitude! I think this next year with a 5 year old, 3 year old, and 1 year old will bring a lot of adventure and laughs as we watch our children grow into little people.

Marcus had a wonderful day. He had school today where he was the helper, the greatest thing in the world! Both Marcus and Alec were able to take Hudson for show and tell today. That was lots of fun for me to be able to see the kids at school. Marcus also took some cupcakes for his school treat. When Carson got home from school he opened up presents and had shrimp-his most favorite treat. He got this gold game to hook up to the TV, ambulance, helicopter, games, and spy things. I think he is set for awhile! I can't believe how fun birthdays are when they really get it! I guess we should enjoy it while it lasts because the teen years probably brings I want, want, and want!

Have a good day. We are off to Park City tomorrow, land of relaxation!
