(no pictures of Jack and Marcus, they were to busy at the diving board!)

After we went swimming we went to dinner at my parents house, Ryan also came over so it was nice to sit and visit with him for a bit. The 4 boys and my mom (my dad had to work the next day) had a sleep over in the basement, thankfully they had played so hard during the day they actually slept quite well. On the 24th Carson had the day off from work so we were able to hang out together during the day, it was very laid back and relaxing! That night we had another little BBQ at my parents house while the kids played in the pool. During dinner I was sitting on the grass by the kids table when Alec told Austin that he had a secret for him. After he got up and told him the secret Marcus asked Austin what the secret was, Austin said, "his mom likes him all of the time!" Alec looked at me and said, "you do huh mom!" It was one of those moments that you get a little teary eyed because you know that your kids feel loved and special! Like I have said before there is something about Alec that makes him my most stubborn, whinniest child, but he is also so tender hearted. Oh you could just grab that kid and squeeze him and give him so many kisses!! Now Olivia on the other hand after she turned 20 months but she sure became mischievous. She would fill up empty cans with the pool water and then go shake it on the boys, before you knew it she was in the big pool with her dress on and all! (bad thing is I didn't have my camera!)Later that night Jayson put on a great fireworks show for us and then the boys had their second sleep over with Jackson and Austin. I think they once again did pretty well sleeping, well after Marcus had a midnight snack! Friday late morning Jaime and her family went home, my kids always have a hard time when they leave. They honestly love playing with their cousins so much, I am so glad they are all pretty close in age. As for Abbi and Olivia they are still trying to figure each other out.... They will play in the same room, they will walk around holding their babies, but they just don't know how to play together yet. I am excited for the day when they are running around the house, not being able to get enough of each other!
We had a wonderful, relaxing 24th of July. You have got to love all those BBQ and Fireworks and just being able to enjoy yourselves.

I love Olivia's swimsuit! It looks so cute on her! The Brigham Pool seems like the best place for the kids! I really need to take my kids there again soon! Cute pics!-ally
Looks like you guys have had a lot of fun in the sun and water this summer. Darling pictures. Those cookies are so cute. Good job!
Sounds like a lot of fun! I miss that holiday (Utah knows how to make summer more fun). Thanks for the van advice - it made me smile. I've heard a lot of good things about the dodges and T&Cs and am happy when I hear it from people I trust.
Sounds like a lot of fun! Too bad we don't get another holiday in July here in arizona, I'm jealous. But then again it's too hot here!
