A Daddy's Daughter....

While being pregnant with each child Carson has always picked out their coming home outfits and buys them something that they will fit into when they are a little bit older. Every time he does it, I look at the piece of clothing and think it will be forever before they wear this. Well that forever is here (actually she has been wearing it for four months now), I can't believe it! When Carson bought this dress I didn't even know what she looked like, it was only a vision that I had in my mind. She is cuter then I visioned and now look at how cute she looks in it, big daddy you did a great job on it!

Every Monday after having Carson wake up and be home with us for the last two days Olivia gets up goes and looks for her daddy and then comes to me and says, "momma, my daddy?" I think that is one of my favorite things she says is my daddy. It is funny because Carson can always says Olivia only will talk about you she always says to Carson, "mommy me!" He will tell her that her hair looks pretty and she will reply "mommy me", he will ask her if she had a fun day and she will start off with, "mommy me!" He always wonders why she only thinks about what her and I do, so I always have to remind him of her "my daddy" comments and truly how much she loves him! Now nearly two years later in some way the shock has worn off to Carson that he has a little girl. Carson loves his kids so much and feels blessed everyday to have boys that want to go golfing with him or playing catch, but there is that special bond/love that he has for his little girl. It is one of my most favorite moments when I am making dinner or something and I look out in the family room to see Carson pushing a stroller or wrapping one of Olivia's baby's in a blanket.
So today as I look at all of my blessings I just wanted to take a minute to realize how blessed I am to witness such a special bond between a Daddy and his daughter.....

This is one reason why I might even consider having another kid. I think Wade needs a little girl. How cute that he picks out their coming home outfit.

I love the daddy daughter relationship. There is nothing more precious. Livie is very smart about the whole thing and completlely uses it to her advantage.

Girls have a way of getting their dad wrapped around their fingers! That is a special bond. Very cute pictures!
