A Small Town Celebration....

Every year around the 24th of July our town has a day filled full of fun and fireworks. This past Saturday was that day, it was hot, but as always it turns out being fun!
In the morning they do a little baby contest, Carson hates them but I think they are fun, so yes I put Olivia in it again! Of course we think that she is the cutest, so I am really not sure why I think it is so fun. She did a great job smiling and blowing kisses, she got 1st attendant.

The boys enjoyed running around with their friends Josh and Emma going down the slides. I think Marcus and Josh enjoyed getting wet a little to much, they were soaked! The boys also enjoyed climbing the rock wall. (Of course my camera battery died so we don't have many pictures of that day)A couple of hours before they do fireworks they have a band come and play for everyone, we had plans going to that whole show but we decided to mow our neighbors lawn that lost his wife a couple of days before. We made it for the last few songs, sad that we didn't make it for more, but enjoyed what we could. The kids enjoyed the fireworks, I know they are not the longest, best fireworks; but I realized that night while I was laying back with my little family how much I enjoy living in a small town. As always we had a fun day and the kids already ask when they will do it again!

Congrats Olivia. She is a cutie! If Blake would have known that there was a rock wall there, we would have been there. He can't wait to take Weston with him rockclimbing.
