Better Late, Then Never....A great Mother/Daughter Night

Back in June was our Wards Enrichment night, it was our Mother/Daughter night. I am the Enrichment Leader, so I wanted to do something that was really fun and something that people would remember. Our theme was Pink and Polka Mother/Daughter's Big Give! We decorated the Gym with pink polka dots, the tables where all decorated by different people in pink and or polka dots, we ate sloppy joes, watermelon, chicken oriental salad, and pink lemonade, and the best part was having a candy bar with all different kinds of pink or or polka dot candy (that was a huge hit)! I think it turned out well, I hope?! When everyone first got their we had them mingle while we took pictures of each mother/daughter group. We then ate dinner and then we had a Do you know your Mom or Daughter game (the newlywed game). We also had everyone bring items to donate to a Local Women's Shelter. I think we can write it down for the shortest Enrichment in history, 1 hour 20 minutes! We had a wonderful turn out, about 85 people; I sure hope they enjoyed it as much as I did.

Oh I almost forgot to start out my day I woke up with one eye swollen shut and Marcus throwing up! So it was a little bit of a crazy day and I looked like a crazy women up there talking, but what can I say.... We are now down to our last Enrichment Night of the year, you have got to love the only 4 a year rule!
