As you can tell we love being by the pool! One day we will have one in our backyard so we can swim whenever we want. Last week we went swimming all day, the boys wanted to stay until it closed, so we did. It turned out to be lots of fun though, so who knows we may do it again before the summer is over. For the first couple of hours it was just me and the kids, I feel pretty lucky to have my kids at their ages so I can manage all three at the pool without anyone even close to being in danger with only one set of adult eyes. Then Carson came, then a couple of my cousins and their kids came, then the Anger family came and joined in the fun, and then some of my cousins and their kids from Idaho came. We really had a great time, but it is funny how we don't really get to sit and visit with friends because we all have to many dang kids that we are doing our own things {so Angers since I am a week late posting about this and we didn't take any pictures of our BBQ tonight I just wanted to tell you thanks for coming with us last week and thanks for having us over tonight so that we could actual have some adult conversation while the kids played, you feel lots safer being able to visit while they are in your back yard then last week when we were barley able to visit while we made sure no one got hurt swimming!}.
At the very beginning I let Olivia go down the little kids slides so we spent most of the day by the slides. The crazy thing was she didn't even go to sleep for a nap or anything until about 7:00 (30 minutes before we went home) and she did great, hardly even cried. Alec was loving having his dad there so he could take him on the big slide about 20 times! Marcus just loved being there!!! And the best part was we managed not having one child or really us get sun burned!! I am telling you I am crazy when it comes to sunscreen. I guess it payed off at one point to look like a bird pooped all over my back when Carson put sunscreen on me because I didn't burn either!
Summer and Olivia really enjoyed going down the slide together. Olivia went tap on her shoulder and mumble something to Summer and then motion her to follow her. Once then got out of the pool Summer would go first and then she would walk backwards through the little net thing, so pretty soon Olivia started walking backwards as well, it was so funny. Having those two play together works out well, Summer can be her little mommy and Olivia has someone doing exactly what she wants!
