Yesterday when their was about 15 minutes left of Relief Society the power went out. I just thought oh it will come back on in a couple of mintues, but it didn't. We started wondering would church be cancelled, what about our dinners cooking in the oven, and is it getting a little chilly in here or is it just me. So after going throughout Sunday School still wondering if Sacrement Meeting will be cancelled everyone entered the Chapel. After using no microphone for announcements, prayers, etc and nor organ for the songs, and the starting of baring your testimonies the power came on with about 25 minutes left of Sacrement Meeting. I don't think I have ever had that happen to me. I was actually quite surprised with how calm all of the primary kids were. Isn't it strange how at home they may freak out a little bit, but while at church they just feel calm?
*Sidenote*Olivia went to Nursery the whole time. I was thinking how great it was that she realized it was fun, but when I went to get her she was asleep on one of the teachers! They said she would cry and then stop, so pretty soon Diane was holding her and she just went to sleep. Also during Sacrement Meeting she pulled herself up on the bench in front of his a said really loud, "I hee (see)"! She was so proud of herself.... Sorry one more Olivia story.... Before going to church I told her and Alec they need to pick up the crasins that they left on the carpet. Olivia took charge of getting that done. When I realized there was some on the floor I told Olivia she needed to pick it up, with much disgust she told me no! After telling Alec to do it, he let me know that they have Olivia's spit on them. When I told Olivia one more time to pick them up, very disgusted once again she told me no. Then she smiled and said, "Mom me howel (towel)". She marched off and came back with a wipe, she took the wipe and picked up that crasin as proud as can be! I can't believe how big she is getting, happy 23 months today my little Princess!!!
